Ask me to describe an orange, and I’ll ask you why. It’s the most important question in communication. I’m a writer who welcomes the puzzle and the payoff of bending words toward a purpose.

This portfolio presents work that’s served kaleidoscopic purposes across several domains: newspaper reporting, academic writing, health communications, tech writing, and science blogging. It presents multi-media work (video and graphic design) as well.

This portfolio is also a slingshot. I hope it will target my skills toward worthwhile purposes.
